Graduate of Electrical Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology. He completed MBA studies at the Faculty of Management and Computer Science at the University of Economics in Wrocław. Since the beginning of his professional career he has been associated with the energy sector, where he gained extensive experience in the areas of: generation, transmission and distribution of energy. His professional career started at Bełchatów Power Plant. In 1998 he became the Deputy Technical Director for Operations, in 2004 – Member of the Management Board, Technical Director, and in 2005 – President of the Management Board, General Director of BOT Elektrownia Opole. From 2008, President of the Management Board of BOT Mining and Energy. Following, Vice-President for Investment and Production at PGE. In 2009-2010, Director of the Energy Department in the Ministry of Economy. In July 2010, he became a member of the Management Board of PSE, Operator and then President of the Management Board of that company. Since 2016, he has been professionally associated with entities from the renewable energy sector. From 2007, member of the Power Engineering Problems Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. Chairman of the Polish Committee of the World Energy Council.
Krystian StachowiakMember of the Supervisory Board of Polish Biogas Group S.A.
Graduate of the Electrical Faculty of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. He graduated MBA and PhD Studies of Economic Sciences at the Faculty of Management at the University of Szczecin. Since the beginning of his professional career he has been associated with the telecommunications industry. In the years 1991-2003, Director of the MCX Branch in Szczecin. Working for over twenty-five years in managerial and supervisory positions in entities operating in the ICT sector and, above all, in the renewable energy industry, he has extensive competencies in the field of creating and implementing enterprise management strategies, building capital groups, both in international structures and group management capital. Co-founder of the VIS VENTI Association for Supporting Wind Energy – currently known as Polish Wind Energy Association and The Polish Economic Chamber of Renewable and Distributed Energy. Developer of the largest wind farms in Poland and a co-founder of the Polish Biogas Group. From 1999, President of the Management Board of Energia -Eco Sp. z o.o. and since 2001 President of the Management Board of EEZ Sp. z o.o. and The Polish Economic Chamber of Renewable and Distributed Energy. He has experience related to the supervision of operations of companies gained as a member of supervisory boards in energy companies.
Tomasz PodgajniakMember of the Supervisory Board of Polska Grupa Biogazowa S.A.
Graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw. Between 1989-2003 he was Vice-President of the Management Board of the National Foundation for Environmental Protection. In the years 2003-2005 Undersecretary of State, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Environment, responsible, among others, for the functioning of the programming and co-financing system for environmental investments and for legislative processes. In 2005 he assumed the position of the Minister of the Environment in the government of the Prime Minister prof. Marek Belka. From 2011, President of the Management Board of Enerco Sp z.o.o responsible for the implementation of large projects in the field of renewable energy (wind parks and biogas plants). Author and co-author of several dozen publications: reports, analytical studies and guides in the field of quality assessment in Poland, environmental impact assessments, integrated permits, comparative risk analysis, practical methods for implementing sustainable development principles, the use of modern programming and planning instruments, including environmental management systems.
